Thank you for your brilliant work. The distillation to purity of difficult concepts that allows accessibility to all.

Well done!

I have to admit - I'm probably guilty (like many) of being one of its progenitors - using xyz to fire off _whatever_ so it's ready for a 4pm pre-brief meeting? Going over shit that saves millions once I was laid off (6.9m in bust contracts I line out, you welcome, thanks for the severance once I got cancer).

Outing our own jobs by sharing the tricks ;)

The inevitable is happening.

Couldn't agree more. We've been developing technologies (Bitcoin also) without a clear use case...or at least not a clear "human-centric" use case.

The unsaid purpose, though, is clear. It's about concentrating power, delegitmazing democratic systemsnand subjugating the masses.

It is time to resist and rewrite the rules for the majority.

I have no issues with developing technologies without a clear purpose, it's essential for discovery. My biggest issue is when we take discovery and operationalize it for profit without guardrails and powerful frameworks around our best interest.

Bitcoin is an interesting case because it wasn't built with the current state in mind and I still have a certain affinity for it as a technology and as an interesting story :)

Profit will always be both the driver (and goal) until End Stage Capitalism is over.

I have no issue with profit, but I have a big issue with profit being the only motive above and before human well being. That is destructive.

Well, foundational research is different than ramping up new tech because of the hype cycle. Private capital is not good at foundational research. It is good at monetizing hype cycles. Those benefits are naturally privatized while the damage will be socialized.

I have no problem with Blockchain. But crypto currencies are designed to transfer power to unaccountable individuals and entities. While they claim to be "decentralized," they are not democratic.

Shifting to a human-centric system would mean changes in political and economic governance. Our current systems clearly need an overhaul. But handing authority to opaque tech systems does not sound like a viable alternative.

Very relevant ideas on AI as we move forward in accelerations of powerful, often ill-conceived technologies; only consciously using AI resources gives the senses the power to become the guardians.

Glad it resonated. Always appreciate the thoughtful comments.

Once again, Hussein... Your deep insights and logical-emotionality has now taken on AI's ever encroaching reach and control within our human race and societies. Buyers, Beware!!!

Thank you Laura, your comments always make my day.
